A very adaptable species of legume. Listed as a Threatened species in Michigan. Very unique foliage and blooms. Creamy colored flowers in a raceme are relished by many larger, long-tongued bees such as Bumblebees and Honeybees. Unfortunately, palatable to many mammals.
